Regulation Update: Temporary Kayak Suspension

As per Official Dispatch No. 483/TB-UBND from the Cat Hai District People's Committee, the local authorities have implemented a temporary suspension of kayaking activities across the Lan Ha Bay to finalize new safety and legal frameworks.

Status: Suspension remains in effect.
Effective Date: From February 1, 2026, until further notice.
Affected Areas: All of Lan Ha Bay, including the Dark & Bright Cave area. (Indochine Cruise & Indochine Grand Cruise)

The Bamboo Boat Experience: A Cultural Alternative

While kayaking is on pause, the breathtaking beauty of the Dark & Bright Cave remains fully accessible! We have optimized our itinerary to ensure your clients don’t miss a beat.

Instead of self-paddling, guests will be invited to join a traditional bamboo boat trip rowed by local artisans. This remains a highlight of our voyage for several reasons:

Effortless Sightseeing: Guests can focus entirely on photography and filming without worrying about navigation or getting wet.
Safety First: A more stable and secure option for families, seniors, and large groups.
Cultural Connection: Supporting the local rowing community provides a more authentic "touch" of Cat Ba culture.
Unchanged Itinerary: All other cruise highlights and sightseeing spots remain fully operational.
